(37,748 posts)I'm all for quoting insiders who have publicly admitted mistakes, and has gone on to describe Palin as "bitter, cynical and aggressive," as mistakes are both something we all do (as did Wallace), and learn from (as did Wallace).

(5,210 posts)incredibly short-sighted, limited, counterproductive thinking. At best. On the wrong side of history too. Or maybe I repeat myself.
We desperately NEED people like these two, and several more I could name, who are adamantly against Trump and make their criticism of him, as conservatives still, well known. It gives people who might turn against him some cover, some permission to do so.
These two are especially astute, insightful, articulate, and even wise at times. I value their wisdom and integrity greatly.
Now, go and sin no more, my child.

Both of them are republicans. If and when they get a coherent viable candidate, we will no longer agree with anything either of them have to say. But I say, enjoy the astral conjunction while it lasts because eventually we will be on different sides of the universe. 💫
