I am surprised by the sharpness of Cameron's smack-down of Mitt

In all the fun of Mitt's Rainbow Tour (aka LOL-apalooza) the one thing that stands out to me was when Cameron (UK Prime Minister) defended the UK's Olympic preparedness against Romney's criticisms by saying, it is easy to run the Olympics "in the middle of nowhere." (Referring to Utah, site of Mitt Romney's awesome Olympics.)

Though a well-deserved jab, it is a surprisingly sharp comment to level against someone who might become President.

(And the state of Utah should, today, be eating "Freedom Muffins" for breakfast.)

But, of course, Cameron is a RW stooge himself. RWers the world 'round just say shit.

Does he do their bidding?

I don't know anything much about Cameron's handlers.

There are times I almost feel a little bit sorry for Tony Blair the way he was ruined by being Bush's lapdog.

they certainly can throw a solid jab, especially in retaliation for an insult.

London has about four times as many people as the entire state of Utah, and is a major international centre of finance and culture. Salt Lake City is pretty much the middle of nowhere in comparison; it's an intellectual and cultural backwater, international centre of nothing apart from a weird UFO cult, and one imagines the logistical and organisational difficulties faced in putting on the 2002 Winter Olympics were somewhat less--the Winter Olympics are always a smaller affair; in 2002 there were 77 countries participating, represented by 2399 athletes...vs 204 countries and over 10,000 athletes in the 2012 Games.
