Anybody here have financial stats on NRA? How much do they have incoming from members?

How much from gun related manufacturers? And

AND

how much do they annually spend on politicians?

Do the figures not match up?

We know they are getting money from Putin now or oligarchs, but maybe they have been for a while.

I have been told they don't purge their lifetime members after they die.

5. If they are a non-profit, I think their numbers have to be public. Right?

15. Controversy regarding NRA tax filings

Alan Berlow, writing for Yahoo News, reported on inconsistencies in NRA reporting of contributions.
Search for "Alan Berlow Yahoo NRA", sans quotes, for more info.

Also, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) requested that the FEC audit the NRA reports.

FEC response letter: https://www.fec.gov/files/legal/murs/current/115861.pdf

Much more material available online from FEC, CREW, and Berlow.

8. They have two Super PACS which are separate from the NRA membership

Don't ask me about Super PACS etc....but I'm pretty sure they have tax filings separate from the NRA. That is where the real money is.

13. They seem to be acting as if they are a third branch of our legislature

They only represent a fraction of gun owners - and have all this sway???

WTF?

House Of Representatives > Senate > NRA > President

?
