he was suicidal watching him. His statement about not complying with the subpoena was scary. He was used by cable news last night. Hope his family intervenes.

4. His history is of a very immoral man and political opportunist. That said, the melt-down was

disturbing--whether from drugs and alcohol, a manic break, or sheer exhaustion/sleep deprivation + anxiety + paranoia.

We don't know that he was mixing alcohol with his self-admitted antidepressants, but clearly something is wrong with him.

And yes, it is disturbing, not funny. I think several of the interviewers on both MSNBC and CNN realized he is at risk--and not merely of legal repercussions and tried to show some compassion. In the end, I do think he was exploited, but it would be hard to imagine a situation where the cable networks would NOT have elected to interview him.
