Some of the topic lines are classic. As are some of his quotes.
Levi - "That is a really nice stance. I guess you are not a big fan of the first amendment. You don't have anything to counter what I have said. If you don't like America, get the heck out. I would encourage you to go to th Cayman Islands and live. You can take the wealth out of America and do it all legally."
Levi - "Elizabeth(Warren) has some serious problems. As someone who works in Cambridge and does legal work, I can tell you her work with corporate law firms is profoundly problematic. Also, she refused to explain why she worked for a law firm who was against giving compensation to victims in asbestos cases. She also is very chummy with Obama and while talking a good game, is not a strong advocate for the working class."
Levi - "You said dependable as the post office. That is not dependable at all, and the law is clear that if you don't get your mail, they are not liable."

Some of this stuff is really funny. It seems Levi is often on the right side of issues. It also appears he has an enormous ego, is not very bright, and is a bit unstable. One thing this article does outline(it doesn't outline much) is that Levi is extremely poor at putting his thoughts together and debating in any positive manner.

(69,364 posts)I've served on boards and committees with people like this. They are nightmares. They argue with everybody and everything. They stonewall and derail and prevent consensus, then complain that consensus hasn't been reached so we can't do anything.
I know people like this who have driven programs into the ground, run community-based programs out of existence.

(15,402 posts)They always have this great plan based on their understanding of the world that will make them heroes in reality as well as in their own minds.
But unfortunately for whatever problem they're attempting to fix "for everyone" as well as themselves, they still need everything else in the world as well as Reality itself to follow the script they've written and are directing.
My understanding after all the years is that Reality is whatever collection of overall needs or requirements that remain and still have a critical impact going forward - outside of the plans and existence one creates to get one's wishes and wants.
That's something most authoritarians or privileged folk don't seem to grok...they tend to think that reality is whatever they allow themselves to see, hear, or feel in whatever immediate environment in which they exist.

I also didn't say he was a Democrat. Is he?
If Mr. Privilege can go after EW I can criticize(attack) him.
You really want to silence criticism during a primary? That doesn't sound right.
Oberliner - 2/19/2018 - "There are legitimate areas of disagreement among Democrats. One of the good things about this message board is that we are a group of smart, informed, politically-minded folks who support the overall values of the Democratic party and work to see Democratic candidates succeed.
With that in mind, there are still areas of dispute and debate - among Democrats - and discussions on the topics ought to be encouraged, not discouraged, on a message board like this."
I think it will be ok.
