"A bit too spy novely for me". It just happened in the UK, and there is no reason at all why it should not happen here. Of course, if those sanctions had been enacted things might be a little different.

I do think it's Putins way of letting Manafort know what's in store for him if he flips and talks. Not much of a choice for him, now is there.

Hope I'm wrong and that Mueller gets something out of him, but it looks like he's a goner.

Either life in prison or poisoned by Putin.
