Pence is crashing St Patrick's Day party in Savannah Ga

Savannah has one of the largest St Patrick's Day festivals in the country and is generally an open container event, but this year the righteous, pompous Pence announced he will attend thus sparking "enhance security" bound to spoil any party.

12 square block of the city will be on lock down, residents will need to prove e residency to leave their homes during his presence.

They says it’s the second biggest St Patrick’s Dqy parade after NYC ( sorry Boston).

And restricting alcohol and backpacks and chairs and other gear will really make people angry people have mutilgenrational gatherings along the parade route.

It was just confirmed on Tuesday and new rules rolled out today.

This will really piss a lot of people off, this is a huge party and a lot of alcohol is consumed.

If I were the parade organizers, I would animal house it, or move the parade to an undisclosed location, postpone it for a day, tell pence, sorry we're closed, sorry mr. VP, no booze, no entry....

I've been to St. Patrick's Day in Savannah. The parade is pretty family-friendly, but there's a thriving drag queen culture in Savannah (think Lady Chablis in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".) I would LOVE to see Mike Pence in the middle of a throng of drag queens. And, it can get pretty raunchy when the sun goes down.

Parade next year, but there was a suggestion to go for the Savannah one instead, as it's supposed to be the best.

That is insane.

Why does Puritan Pence want to go to a drunken orgy?

Who invited the Puritan to a drunken Catholic holiday? Traffic and parking is already the world's largest clusterfuck on a midweek parade, but a Saturday parade with the veep in town will be catastrophic.

What is he going to get out of it, except plastic cups of warm green beer heaved his way? There is no safe secured viewing area as the big wigs ride in the parade and THERES NO WAY IN HELL they'd be dumb enough to ride him down the route.

time and Pence and his boss both 'respect' the 2nd amendment, so why would Pence want to take away southern freedoms?
