the Olympics. I, for one, am tired of the Mitt humming ad...it's annoying and does not make a poignant point. The Obama team should have been able to come up with much better and different ads that are more positive, factual, but hit hard at the lies and duplicity of the GOP and Romney. I think the Obama team is missing a golden opportunity to put out their message to voters who might not otherwise hear or see it.

(1,374 posts)but I like it. It directly refutes the Rmoney out-of-context lie ad.

(37,648 posts)If so, the reason they ran it during the Op. Ceremony is probablly to get it before the millions of people who do not follow politics and haven't seen the ad, but they will be watching the Op. Ceremony.
It's a striking ad. One of the best I've ever seen. They SHOULD put it out there for millions more to see. It makes a valid point w/o saying a word: one picture is worth a thousand words.
Sure, you and I have seen it. But we're into politics.

(37,648 posts)There is no way to muffle it out or mistake it for humming. He is singing the national song quite clearly. Nothing at all sounds like humming. He is singing off key, and the ad has him singing quite a bit of the song, as well as shows a pic of him on a campaign stage when he was singing it.
