Stormy knew they were gathering support to demonstrate she was telling the truth. Video of her taking a polygraph test would be part of that.

deal with the publication that needed verification to run the story at the time. Either she had a copy or the magazine, or someone who worked for the publication or the author. Seems like it was just simple documentation and verification in order to publish a legit story and cover them legally to a degree.

But I think you are asking about the Cambridge Analytica. I watched all the videos, some you can see the camera was in a bag or briefcase, when they set it down.

I don't know much about the polygraph process but it seems reasonable that filming the session would be for verification purposes.
