ADDITIONAL NOTE:
Following comments, I want to be clear that this post isn't about attacking Democrats. It is about messaging. We need to be as aggressive in our messaging and taking down the other side as Republicans have been.
ORIGINAL POST:
Why aren't Democratic lawmakers dragging Trump into the Facebook scandal? The Trump campaign was in the center of it, with Bannon being VP of Cambridge Analytica and CA working directly for the Trump campaign using information of Facebook users.
If this was a scandal that involved Democrats the cries from the other side would be: "This is worse than Watergate," This is an abuse of the trust of the American people," "Democrats ignored the privacy of Facebook users and used every dirty trick to win the election," "We need an investigation into how Democrats used Social Media platforms to steal the election."
My point is, here is another opportunity to further discredit Trump, but again there seems to be no fight, no passion, no outrage, nothing coming from the Democrats.

(5,737 posts)I think you are waiting for somebody else in particular to speak about it before you recognize it. Sorry, but I'm tired of people bashing Democrats.

(50,941 posts)has been. We simply have not been in the same league on this.
I DO think we need to take every opportunity to smear what they do. I do think we need to wake up and do more to counteract the military psyops they have been using against us.
This is a great opportunity to do that. I'm not saying (GOD! I'm not saying!) we need to match their dishonesty, but I am hoping to see a very vocal, consistent and long-lasting denunciation about this from EVERY Democratic official in EVERY statement made on every topic.

(44,109 posts)It is Republicans who have no outrage and are silent on Trumps abuses. Dems are out there working and pushing hard and speaking out.
Apparently you just arent paying attention

(30,481 posts)The initial response is often what sets the bar and must be accurate. There is no shortage of discussion on any of this. Our response will be factual and aggressive.
The initial response to this has been brutal for the regime. Its not going to get any better. Just today Pelosi is publicly referencing the fact that Trump is Putins Puppet as are many other elected officials.
"why aren't Democratic lawmakers ensuring Trump plummets too?"
This line is questionable at best.

(9,078 posts)in the sixties as Secretary of State. Democrats allowed her to be redefined by the insidious GOP/Trump propaganda machine. We need to fight like Republicans. Trump is still enjoying a boost from his tax cuts for the rich. How do we let him get away with it? The vocal opposition to the worst president in history is as best, weak.
