How does this work? The REPUBS closed the house investigation right?

I hope the Dems can continue the investigation on there own? Also if the Dems do this do they have to have REPUBS present? Anyway the Repubs couyld stop them from doing this? TY in advance.

so no, if they say investigation over, investigation over.

I dont know what the Dems can do independently, but they have NO power, NONE, in the House or Senate.

Gather public information and issue their own reports. I don't know if they are planning to talk to anybody elese, but I do think they are planning to issue their own report.

I can't find it now but just on CNN the Dem mentioned they wanted to meet with him? Will keep looking tho. I did find this comment from Adam Schiff We will be setting out the facts that we know to date, to the degree that the intelligence community will allow us to make those public,” Schiff said. “There are individuals who want to cooperate with our committee and share information, and will continue to do so.

The committees have subpoena power and the ability to compel testimony. Lacking that, the congressional D's could continue to investigate -- but only like you or I would trying to find a missing sweater.
