(69,532 posts)what I was hearing Schumer was giving high fives to Trumps China tariff increase. I mean WTF.

(34,285 posts)Schumer needs to remember he works for his constituents, most of whom would NOT want him doing this.

(69,532 posts)do support our Democratic Senators but how does this help us instigating a trade war? The hits keep on coming. Trump doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.

(98,883 posts)trump, thinking that this will actually solve the trade violations that China has been doing for years. This IS NOT THE WAY YOU DEAL WITH TRADE NEGOTIATIONS, and not only does it increase the danger of a trade war, but consumers paying higher prices, and ironically instead of jobs be "saved", they very likely will be lost because of this, along with a very real possibility of an economic collapse

(2,795 posts)Honestly, this turnaround dick sucking of Trump by various senators and congressmen just does.not.make.sense.
I swear, Trump is telling the Russians to dig and hack into everything they can to find dirt on his adversaries - illegal, nefarious or sexual. Then a little birdy tells said adversary what is know and if they don't start playing along, reputation ruined. Marriage ruined. Career ruined. Or sent to prison.
I truly think most of congress is blackmailable dem and republican and Trump and the Russians are going to exploit it.

(98,883 posts)trump should NOT be praised for the bull headed, ignorant way the ignoramus in the WH is doing this, the fact does remain that China has numerous trade violations, and both republican and Democratic administrations have been trying to do something about this. Of course the problem is the way the jerk in the WH is doing it. Not only does it have the very real potential to create a trade war, but increased prices to consumers, and ironically the thing he processes to save, "jobs", will most likely be lost if this emerges as a trade war.
Whether the OP lives in NY or not, the OP should call his Senator and voice his disapproval.

(17,425 posts)When Retrumplicans praised President Obama for anything???
They didn't even give him praise for finally doing what it took to find and kill Osama bin laden.
You don't win elections and stop fascism by praising it...EVER!
All this does is make the "both parties are the same" shit easier to claim.
There's a better way to deal with unfair trade practices.
It would be better to articulate those than to kiss Donnie Short Fingers ass in the well of the Senate

(98,883 posts)I also suggested you might want to call his office and express your disapproval
