(51,567 posts)The Annual Cherry Blossom Festival, were kind enough to move it to Sunday (If any blossoms are left after all these late season storms). 500,000,people are expected so the March needs a lot of space. There are over 830 "satellite" marches around the world. This could be bigger than the Women's March. RESIST GUN VIOLENCE!

(51,567 posts)Last night I thought that Lawrence said it was going to be on the Mall as planned. But this info seems to come from the organizers so they should know.
"Moving around Washington, DC during the March For Our Lives, especially near the National Mall and Capitol grounds, requires patience and a good pair of walking shoes. With hundreds of thousands of visitors attending the march, walking is the best mode of transportation."
