"In the councils of government, we must guard against
the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or
unsought, by the military-industrial complex.

The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists,
and will persist."

Seriously do we need all that military might?

IMAGINE if all that money went into helping set the world to
balance again.

They will DESTROY this country, this planet, this species to satisfy their greed and bloodlust.

And sadly the other two members of their twisted triad: The Lords of Money and The Petroleum Mafia stand with them jackboot-to-jackboot.

While they weren't exactly "wars" we did some reasonable work--militarily speaking--in Kosovo in the nineties and arguably in Egypt last year. I know they don't exactly count as "wins" and they were both part of a much larger effort that included many other nations, but in my opinion that is how our military *should* be used. Just my two cents.

just a bunch of worthless, illegal "resolutions", none of which ever "resolved" anything!

The last declaration of war was in December 1941.
