So, who benefits from a US-China Trade War? Russia!!

Why would Trump want to screw his own Made in China "Trump" merchandise? Because that's small money. The real money is in mega-million loan forgiveness and a % of future US earnings for the global crime syndicate headed in Moscow.

EU nations will continue to trade with China and will realize a perfect opportunity to exploit the retaliatory China imposed tarriffs on US Hi-Tech.

You have to ask yourself....where are we going to get the cheap nuts and bolts that China produces today? Think we will see a resurgence on nuts and bolts factories? Why? No ROI and who knows what US Tarriff policy will be in, say, 2 years? Would you make a multi-million dollar bet on a nuts and bolts factory? Or would you accept the tarriff and pass it on to the consumer?

Will just purchase nuts and bolts from some other low wage country that has the industrial capability already in place. I think the big winner will be Vietnam.

and I don't think VietNam is one of them.

Besides, most of Vietnam's industrial infrastructure is China owned. The game of low labor rates is alive and well in China. They too are moving manufacturing to cheaper locations - SE Asia and the internal provinces - to reduce labor cost and stabilize their workforces. The current So. China business model of reliance of a migratory workforce is an untenable long term business strategy.
