(7,911 posts)They get advertisers by having more unique visitors to the page. The more you visit Fox News, the more you support them. And nobody takes their surveys seriously anyway.
The best response to Fox News is no response at all. Don't click, don't visit, treat it like it doesn't even exist.

(7,911 posts)The more people you recruit to click, the more you help them.
And even if you do recruit enough to sway the poll, it's an empty victory. It means nothing to anyone, while more clicks means everything to Fox News.
There's no such thing as a righteous reason to support Fox News in any form.

Theres a long history here of gang voting conservative Polls online to break their bubble conceptIt is a means to let them know that their viewpoint is not the only view point in the world, which is what FOXNews like to make them think

(7,911 posts)If you think a hard line Fox News junky would be swayed by a poll, think again They'll just scream that "Libtards gamed our poll with fake votes" and go right on believing what they believe. It's like talking to a wall, except that when you talk to this wall you actually help Fox News spread its lies by giving them more potential ad revenue.
It's not only pointless to go vote on a Fox poll, it's harmful in the long run.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
