The reason KellyAnne came to work on Trump's campaign is because that's where Robert Mercer wanted her to be. She and Bannon both signed on at the same time, when the Mercers started making huge contributions to the Trump campaign. It wasn't until after he got the nomination because they were originally backing Ted Cruz. ('Memba him?)

I don't have any insider info on this, but it seems doubtful that she'd be sleeping with Cheeto. Occasionally we hear gossip about how she knocks him behind his back, etc. But she will stay loyal to him, right up to the day she gets fired.
