Why did the DOJ release this bogus report....

On someone who was murdered in Washington DC?

I have a hard time believing this man was drunk and kept falling down till his body was battered and he was dead

The DOJ put out their report in Nov of 2015

“The coroner determined that he had died from blunt force injuries to the head and had also sustained blunt force injuries to his neck, torso, upper extremities, and lower extremities.”

“After an 11-month investigation, a federal prosecutor announced in late 2016 that Lesin died alone in his room due to a series of drunken falls “after days of excessive consumption of alcohol.” His death was ruled an “accident,” with the coroner adding acute alcohol intoxication as a contributing cause of death, and prosecutors closed the case.”

“The Steele report is not the FBI's only source for this account of Lesin's death: Three other people, acting independently from Steele, said they also told the FBI that Lesin had been bludgeoned to death by enforcers working for the same oligarch named by Steele.”

But I do remember falling down now and then ( just being honest ).

But I don't remember ever being injured, especially not more than one band-aid worth.

If he was that drunk he would have quit trying to stay on his feet before it got that painful.

Absolute bullshit

What if a radical right wing coworker came up to you and said “Loretta Lynch, Obamas department of justice, covered up the murder of someone in Washington DC, to protect the Russians”

What could our response possibly be?

We really need to learn more about this situation

That Loretta Lynch covered up the murder of a person in Washington DC.

I am not a conspiracy nut, and I still think there could be a reasonable explanation for this story, but I can’t sort it out.

Does anybody have any input?

No one even broached the subject, which is equally baffling.

I never want to give the right wingers a platform upon which to argue or accuse, and of course I hope there's a rational explanation for all of this, but right now, it doesn't pass the smell test.

The case is extremely troubling, On it’s face it looks like the Obama Justice Department betrayed the nation.

I can’t imagine any American just blowing the story off , if Trumps Justice Department did the same ( they probably have done something similar already), Democrats would be outraged, and rightfully so

and no other people accompanying or following him on security camera so my guess is that report of examination of security camera footage must have been crucial factor in decision to conclude accidental injuries rather "murder".

or something classified for another reason. You seem to be suggesting that democrats view our intelligence agencies as angels, which is ridiculous considering that they played a major role in Hillary's defeat.

As far as trump's cries about a witchhunt, if there truly were a witchhunt against him, he would've been shut down in 2016. Instead, he was protected--not one word about his investigations were leaked. If it were truly a witchhunt, he never would have been inaugurated because he'd already be in prison right now,
