(21,883 posts)It is money taken over their career in Congress, McCain has been there for a very long time. Marco Rubio and Jodi Ernst are the most surprising as they haven't been in Congress that long.

(37,613 posts)Also people act like it's a bribe. Like the people who donated to HRC thought they were paying her to change her views to what they wanted. Most of the time, you donate to the candidate who already tends to support your views. We "get it" when it's our behavior, but others ... They're apparently corrupt to the core and act in completely foreign ways, who can understand them?
