(26,292 posts)No doubt in my mind.
As well as in mine...
But, tell me, have ever heard of someone who's competent or fit for his position in the Trump Administration ?

(26,292 posts)Oh, and exploiting their positions for their own, and their friends financial benefit. They do a smashing job, when it comes to exploitation.
When the ultimate goal is the selfish destruction of the country, job competence just doesn't even merit a mention.

(15,336 posts)I think you encapsulated "repuglicons" pretty well.
The last time I heard one of our elected representatives from that party express an interest in the common weal was 20-30 years ago.
Perhaps the Gingrich, ALEC, Rove influence. All money-based. None social justice. Period.
I hate to say this, but I really feel for the conservatives that were part of that party in the pre-1990's era and who watched whatever social credence they had established be demolished by money and lobbyists.

Preferably in an extremely poor school district. And make her live "on the economy"; rent, food, transportation, utilities, insurance (vehicle, home, health), co-pays, etc.
She wouldn't make it one week.
Better yet, make it a very small school in a remote village up here, film it & send it to everyone.
You may guess I am a YUUUUUUGE fan of educators. And NOT of DeVos.
