PARKLAND SURVIVOR BLASTS NRA BOARD MEMBER TED NUGENT FOR SAYING DEMOCRATS 'SHOULD BE SHOT LIKE COYOTES"

A teenaged survivor from Parkland, Florida, demanded that NRA board member and rocker Ted Nugent apologize for saying that Democrats should be "shot" like coyotes. Cameron Kasky, part of the Never Again movement against gun violence, also called on the massive gun-rights organization firm to denounce Nugent's statements.

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student directly appealed to the NRA via Twitter.

"So I assume the @NRA is going to ignore T*d Nugent calling for the shooting of half the country, right? That behavior is acceptable to them, right?," Kasky wrote. "Surely, the sensible, law abiding citizens who are members of the NRA will call for an apology from Nugent... right?"

In another tweet, Kasky quoted Nugent and commented, "Yeah the NRA seems really interested in safety; I bet the children of America feel really mighty safe with that."
