Their actions (or, rather, inaction) indicate to me that they were awash in laundered Russian money this past election cycle. They would be relieved to have Mueller gone until they realize that his termination would not stop the investigation. It would only intensify it.

if they dare not leave the Capitol because a couple million of US are camped outside loudly DEMANDING that the impeach AND convict. Peaceful protests too large and enduring to be ignored will be all that might save us. If those fail, I fear we will enter a period of de facto civil war with casualties on both sides and a resurgence of vigilantism and "frontier justice."
