And we all know it.
He may be angry too, but thats a side emotion. He is terrified that if he cant stop Mueller or the Cohen investigation, his crimes will be revealed.

(7,434 posts)It's always been difficult to imagine what it takes for anyone to sidle up to Trumpy and do his bidding, but now it's more likely that Trumpy's deepening troubles are incentive for people around him to distance themselves and not come back. There is no way that Trumpy skates out of this, and anyone who is around him now had better look out for busses. The urge to get out has to be getting insurmountable.

The smartest and closest thing to 'face saving' he can do is resign, although I think we all know that's one thing he will never do.

(34,467 posts)This isnt going as Putin planned. So Trump may think he has little to lose in firing Rosenstein, Mueller, etc. Hes probably a lot more worried about Putin and his own personal consequences than about the politics of this (how his actions could sink Republicans).

All of this predictable.
