Another new low for Republicans.

Eleanor Clift

@EleanorClift
Another new low for Republicans if they wave through Wendy Vitter, wife of ex-Sen David Vitter of DC Madam fame, extending spousal courtesy to install her as lifetime federal judge after she won't say whether she supports Brown v Board of Education

Damn, I hate the Vitters. If she is confirmed, she will be in my district.

New Orleans has a high percentage of black residents. What a slap in the face after her refusal to answer questions about Brown v. BOE.

And in any context at all, why should anyone extend courtesy on behalf of David Vitter? Even the most devoutly rightwing righties of Louisiana couldn't stomach keeping that piece of vermin around when he thought he could waltz into the governor's mansion.

And then the wife of this POS is on the fence on Brown v. BOE? Did anyone think to ask her about Dred Scott?
Jesus wept.
