Officials in the Canadian city of Winnipeg have launched a review after a two-year-old rescue dog was shot and killed after she slipped out of her crate at the city’s airport

3. When you have planes in the air and no place for them to land, the clock is ticking.

A lot of things failed to get to the point it did, and I hope those are the procedures they focus on.

4. in fairness, they thought there was a gun in the dog's paw.

i get that it's no good having a dog on an active runway.

but did they try coaxing the dog with food??

maybe they should have some kind of throw net around for such things??

tranquilizer guns??
