Moral of the story: whether youre running for governor, senator, representative, or anything, do not run as a Trump lover if you want to win a Democratic race.
Another recent poll had them tied. Looks like the undecideds are breaking for Cordray upon knowing more about Kucinich

(35,454 posts)This is another example of why the Dems need to become more responsible as to who runs under the Dem banner. I'm not sure exactly what legal steps could/can be taken but at the very least we can vet and stop supporting candidates wearing Dem masks, do a really good publicity campaign letting people know who such people are and finally, all out support for good Dem candidates.

(55,334 posts)I mean, they're obviously following the rule of law and going after Trump. But I can't say I'm entirely invested in rooting for them. Let's not forget that we are in this mess because Comey wanted to sabotage Clinton, because he thought she was certain to win the election. He wanted there to be a weak president in the Oval Office. Wish granted, asshole.
Kucinich might be going overboard there a bit, but I would suggest that we should be rooting for Mueller to take down Trump the same way FDR was rooting for Stalin to take down Hitler. At the end of the day, we will find out that are allies may have radically different interests than us

(20,595 posts)DK is a Putinite, who at one time called for Obama to be impeached. Hes 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag. Ill take Mueller both from a personal standpoint and an ethics standpoint over DK seven days a week and twice on Sunday.

Now we have to figure out what to do about DeWine. There has to be some dirt out there on him. Some enterprising reporters need to go find it.

(4,677 posts)He's always been in that bizarre Infowars-Left region of American politics that some greens and Naderites and left-Trumpers inhabit. His "Department of Peace" stuff during the 2004 primary sounded like a caricature of a liberal written by a Fox News pundit. And sure enough, where did he go when he needed some of those juicy capitalist dollars? Fox News.

(3,921 posts)they clearly are a socially conservative left, a revival of the old-left that existed before the new left social liberal movements of the 60's-present.
its why they so easily identify with Trump/Putin and their nationalist populism.
