7. I've been posting the Cold Open lately since it's usually the high point of the show

10. I still think Leslie Jordan would have been an ideal Jeff Sessions

He's shorter than Kate McKinnon, already looks just like Sessions, has a devilish sense of humor and an actual Southern accent. Not to mention his highly noticeable sexual ambiguity would have really stuck in Sessions' antediluvian craw.

I think the folks in makeup could use a little more shadow to make Bennett's eyes look deeper set when he plays Pence, maybe obscure his eyebrows a little more, too. Now that his hair has gone white, Pence's head looks like a skull, like a Marvel villain.

11. Kate McKinnon has regularly done Jeff Sessions - and she does always make me laugh

Though you do make an excellent point! When I watch these things - including the late night comedians - I often wonder if the subjects of the impersonations - or the butt of the jokes - are watching!

And I haven't yet seen anyone who can do a recognizable Pence - usually it's just the white hair - but then Pence has got to be the toughest to do, there's not much there to impersonate.
