This country has been so stress-fucked for so long how can we not throw in a little hysterical laughter now and then?

6. There should be a way to include some sort of msg when you start a new thread

on a topic that is already active. I've inadvertently added duplicate threads just because I'm a slow typist. Even after checking first and finding nothing, by the time I peck out my new topic and post it, I find that several identical posts have already beat me to the finish line.

I'd rather have one consolidated post with all the relevant comments than dozens of duplicates.

8. They seem to do a pretty good job of cleaning up duplicate threads...

However, I wish there was a way of merging the older threads with the new, as to not lose all the comments in the closed threads. I've seen other forums do this, so it is possible.
