Excerpt from Comey's NPR book-selling interview:

"I'm not making fun of the president. I'm trying to be an author, which I've never been before in my life," Comey says. "While I'm typing, I can hear my editor's voice ringing in my head, 'bring the reader with you. Show them inside your head. Bring them with you.'"

"'Describe the president's hands?'" NPR Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep responded. "Can you hear the editor saying that?"

"No, but that was on my mind," Comey says. "And by the way, not that this matters, but I found his hands to be above average in size, and so I'm not making fun of the man, I'm trying to tell the reader what's in my head."

1. Hey, Comey!

No one really cares about the size of Trump's hands or the nature of his "junk." I don't give a damn about his sex life. I don't care if he uses a tanning bed. I don't even care if he's shorter than he claims.

We want to know about the crimes that you know he's committed. We need to know that our system will derail this traitorous bastard's assaults on our nation.

Most of us care about the future of our country. We don't really care about any pee-pee tapes. But if you know that Trump has been actively manipulated or blackmailed by Putin, how can you keep that to yourself?!

I suggest that if you, Mr. Comey, are the patriot you present yourself as, you will reveal the corruption of this evil man even if it puts you in jeopardy. Remember Nathan Hale? Remember Elijah Isaacs? They put their country before themselves. Mr. Comey, do you consider yourself among those patriots?


ETA: Otherwise, Mr. Comey, you're just a vainglorious noise-maker.
