Noticed something very interesting re Sanctions, Russia hacking and Rob Joyce

4/16: It's reported - Trump puts the brakes on new Russian sanctions, reversing Haley’s announcement:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-puts-the-brake-on-new-russian-sanctions-reversing-haleys-announcement/2018/04/16/ac3ad4f8-417f-11e8-8569-26fda6b404c7_story.html?utm_term=.3750c8b0e219

4/16: At 1:25pm it's reported - Russia is sponsoring cyberattacks in U.S. homes and businesses, U.S. and U.K. officials warn in which Rob Joyce makes a statement:

"“We are pushing back and we’re pushing back hard,” said Rob Joyce, White House special assistant to the president and cybersecurity director."

4/16: At 4:19pm it's reported - Top cyber official to leave White House (ROB ROYCE)

"Joyce’s departure will leave a void in one of the top cybersecurity roles in the administration. Joyce was among top U.S. and British officials who earlier Monday blamed Russian-backed hackers for conducting cyberattacks on internet infrastructure across the globe in an apparent spy campaign targeting government, critical infrastructure and private businesses.

Anyone would have to be blind if they think that Trump is not Putin's puppet and is some unwitting part in all this.

away with it is that he still has somewhere in the neighborhood of SIXTY MILLION Americans supporting his treason.

Considering his actions he has way way too much support in the polls.

the president is owned by putin. okay, that's been amply demonstrated. who owns congressional republicans? my opinion it could be russia.

in sort of the same way, we really don't know that the russians didn't deliver at that meeting with Don Jr etc at Trump tower. they sure have been able to inflict a lot of damage to this country.

i wonder if we'll ever really know, but i hope we do, and it ends with mass imprisonment of the corrupt right wing.

It says in the article that Rob Joyce is leaving the White House but going back to his regular job at the NSA. For all we know it may have been pre-arranged, if he were only working temporarily at the WH. That part isn't explained in the OP.

It does seems that the vast majority of the firings and reassignments are timed such that they seem to be in reaction to somebody showing some spine and disagreeing with the orange asshole. Quite honestly I expected to read about Nikki Haley being fired. That still might happen.

Wonder what old George Patton would think of this modern conservative crew.

Actually, I already know. And I know what he'd want to do about it. And I'm right there.

the US could do to Putin (and SHOULD be doing)but The Fucking Moron needs to order it and he won't. He said we need to find out exactly how much and where Putin has his stolen Russian money and tell the world. Also, our cyber people need to block Putin's cyber attacks (we do have the ability to do this). Finally, attack Russian power grids and computers for interfering in our election. I wish we were able to get this going without the moron's approval. We are sitting ducks.

the cyberattacks are very worrisome. Seems like they’ve infiltrated us at every level. I hope private companies, public utilities and internet providers are doing due diligence.

The Internal Revenue Service’s online system for submitting tax returns experienced widespread failures on Tuesday, complicating filing for the millions of taxpayers attempting to meet the government’s midnight deadline.

“On my way over here this morning, I was told a number of systems are down at the moment,” IRS Acting Commissioner David J. Kautter told lawmakers at an oversight hearing Tuesday. “We are working to resolve the issue and taxpayers should continue to file as they normally would.”

Kautter said the agency was struggling to accept returns from the widely used tax software program TurboTax and the massive tax preparation company H&R Block. Taxpayers can use the services to complete their filings, but the filings are not being transmitted from the companies to the IRS, Kautter said.

The agency discovered the problem early Tuesday morning. An IRS spokeswoman would not comment on when the problem would be resolved.
