(37,748 posts)A statistical tie despite O'Rourke's current lack of name recognition within the state.
He's got a 100% score from Planned Parenthood, opposes the draconian tactics of the war on drugs, and considers marriage equality a core civil right. He supports Obama's AHCA, and is wants to expand Medicare, and has expressed support for single-payer.
It was O'Rourke and one other (Sam Peters?) who used their cell phones to send video out of congress when the Republics ordered C-SPAN to turn their cameras off. He endorsed Clinton for both primary candidate and President.
O'Rourke is the real deal, and his charismatic and impassioned speaking style is akin to that of Bobby Kennedy and Sen. Obama.
I'm investing the vast majority of my time and effort during the mid-terms on him. But of course, some idiot may call me delusional because I think he has more than a chance to win.
