Top White House adviser Jared Kushner’s family real-estate company has reportedly been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury. The subpoena, according to The Wall Street Journal, is related to documents that might have been falsified. The Associated Press recently reported that the company submitted documents in New York City claiming it did not have rent-regulated tenants when, in fact, it did. “Kushner Companies has nothing to hide and is cooperating fully with all legitimate requests for information, including this subpoena,” a spokeswoman for the company said. Previously, the firm took “corrective action” immediately on the documents, which the company said were completed by a third-party entity.
