BREAKING!!!...about time

DNC sues Russia, Trump campaign and WikiLeaks, alleging conspiracy

BY AVERY ANAPOL - 04/20/18 11:10 AM EDT/THE HILL

The Democratic National Committee is suing the Russian government, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks, alleging that the three entities conspired to help President Trump win the 2016 election.

The Washington Post reported Friday that the DNC filed the multi-million dollar lawsuit in federal district court in Manhattan.

“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.

“This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency."

The suit comes months after special counsel Robert Mueller indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups in his investigation on charges related to interference in the election.

Every "about time" hinders new voters from voting.

The suit names as defendants several Trump campaign aides who met with Russian nationals during the campaign, including campaign chair Paul Manafort and Trump campaign deputy Rick Gates, both of whom have since been charged in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling.

The DNC lawsuit also names Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law and White House adviser Jared Kushner and on-and-off Trump confidante Roger Stone.

I don’t use the term lightly, and it’s not all Republicans. However, the Trump administration is full of traitors. They sought our enemy’s help to win the election. They served Russia’s agenda.

There needs to be consequences. This is a good start.

if you define "success" as a monetary or in-kind award or settlement at the end of it all. But, having the power of discovery and a certain amount of media attention may well prove to be a big W, even if the suit is withdrawn at some point.

So if Dump does follow through and fires Mueller, he can't stop the lawsuits. He can't stop the Cohen investigation, the inevitable state investigations if he should fire Mueller and now, the civil lawsuits will also pick it up. He has no moves left.

Check Mate.

Just today, we have this and McCabe. Then, the 3-4 women (I can’t keep track) suing for defamation or to break their NDA’s. Emoluments, various federal and state charges related to Russia, and more I’m forgetting right now...

They already have trouble getting any decent lawyers to rep them...No doubt, there are others out there who have been hurt by the Don’s organization. It’s time for those people to step forward now, when his resources are being spread thin enough that he can’t bully his way through everything.

In a just world, the moment this election was found to be influenced by the Russians, it would have been considered null and void. The second it was discovered that TrumpCo. was involved with the Russians his candidacy would have been disallowed, and the next Republican in line - according to the primaries - would run against Hillary in the re-election. There would be no advertising, no campaigning, just another election. Some may think that punitive to the GOP, but fuck them. They knew, or should have known that something was rotten in the first place.

That would be in a just world. In our world we get a fucking orange, narcissistic lunatic running our country.

According to President Cheese Whip, he's got several laying around.

The DNC spent almost that much defending themselves against the stolen information.

My only regret is they didn't include Fox News among the Defendants.
