FLIPPABLE: Emily Randall for WA-SD26

I’m excited to announce my campaign for State Senate in the 26th district. Born and raised here on the Kitsap Peninsula, I know what makes our community special - and I understand the unique challenges we face.

I know that there is more that unites us than divides us and I am frustrated by partisan politicians in Olympia without the courage to do what’s right for you and me, our families and our neighbors.

I’m running to put the people of the 26th district first - to ensure we are investing in our local economy so that hard-working folks can earn a good living, that we have high quality education to prepare our students for the careers needed most by businesses in our community, and that we all have access to affordable healthcare.

My top priority is hearing directly from you and your neighbors, right here in our district. I want to know what you love about our community and how you think we could do better, your struggles and your hopes. In the coming weeks and months I will be visiting every area of the 26th - from Lakebay to Olalla, Fox Island to Navy Yard City, Purdy to Retsil. I want to hear from you! Please sign up to receive email updates or follow along on our facebook page to attend an event.

Thank you for your support - I’ll see you soon!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
