For those of you who listen, who are your favorites?
I like Mark Thompson, Michelangelo Signorile, Dean Obeidallah, and Karen Hunter.
I am not too impressed with Stephanie Miller (too many jokes and really doesnt talk about anything) or Thom Hartman (he is ok but doesnt move me)
I cant stand Joe Madison (even though I agree with almost everything he says, he is too rude and snarky with his callers, and these are callers who agree with him)

(42,641 posts)He constantly interrupts his callers so he can demonstrate his intelligence. If only his listening ability was equal to his intelligence.
I like Norman Goldman because he actually listens and responds to what is said.

(34,195 posts)I listen to progressive talk radio to be informed, not entertained.
Her show is too noisy, too childish --> in my humble opinion.

(2,795 posts)Every once in awhile, I'll try again. But I hate all of that canned clapping and noise and bells etc.
I know it's a morning show and they are probably trying to be upbeat and invigorating to start the day. But it drives me nuts.
