Oh please. Dreams, Dream on.
Yeah..............slaves dreamed of freedom. After the Emancipation Proclamation, where they were freed? Took until the start of WWI for it to happen. Read Slavery By Another Name, Douglas Blackmon. Yes. And they still to this day are profiled, stopped regularly and often for no reason other than being black. Shot unarmed in minutes of an encounter by police. Called thugs.
Yeah...us silly ass women dreamed to vote. Some of us died trying. Yet here we have a panel telling us what we should do with our bodies. They regulate us. They insert probes into our bodies. They write laws that make a fetus more important than a woman's heath. Laws the GOP writes that says a fetus has more rights than a mother. This from a group that gives not one damn for the child after he or she has been born.
I am tired of pipe dreams that will never happen and ideas without solutions. I want some facts from our politicians. I want cold hard facts. I want numbers and I want solutions that have a chance in this world of politics. I do not want unicorns...they don't exist.
I do not just want to dream on.
I want to live. I want the children to live.
Gee wiz....I will not be dreaming my life away.

That depends, but what we dream of we can work toward.
Often an artist "sees" the picture before painting.
Great song.
As a kid I dreamed about the Easter Bunny, Santa and Prince Charming. None was based in reality. I grew up.

Yes. What we can work toward. Agreed. Yet we need some facts and figures to make those decisions. If we don't have that then it is just a dream, just like Prince Charming coming to save me.
I majored in art. Yes, I saw the beauty before the picture evolved...it did not make it a reality, yet the picture was pretty. It was a part of me...my hopes and dreams....hopes and dreams a pretty picture.
