21. Solving the Scott Pruitt "problem" is easy.

I understand that Don Blankenship is aiming for a political position. Who could be a better choice for the Trump administration?

4. They think their money will protect them.

Just like they think their money will protect them from the hoi polloi, the crappy economy they insist on creating, the law & the courts, etc etc etc

6. They have actually become addicted to money/power - they don't know their addiction.

Worse than drugs, alcohol.

Part of sex and dominance.

Since capitalism is almost embedded in these people's psyches and much of the popular culture - they're just doing what they are supposed to be doing.

Most of the rest of us actually lead lives caring about each other with a good smattering of fairness.

10. When someone hoards cats it is considered a mental illness. But when people hoard money, more

money than they could ever spend and fight so hard to get more of it most people are envious of their position. I see their addiction too and I would never want to be like that or live like that.

Dr. Wayne Dwyer once said, "Where is the peace in, I need more?"

And power is all that matters to them. They are selling out their children and grandchildren for a buck. Repub values are all about the dollars.

7. These people are evil,

from the day they are born until the day they die.

I think one of the greatest myths is that no one is born bad, study humans long enough and the only logical conclusion is that some people are to evil to live.

8. Danny..

These folks know money is the answer. If things get bad enough, or they soil their bed, they roll up the digs and move somewhere else. If their kids are as spoiled as they, they probably couldn't care less what happens to them, out of resentment and selfishness.

Like in any good kleptocracy, that's all they care about.

13. The Republican Party is Scott Pruitt

If all the horrible attributes of Donald Trump were removed from the equation of what this administration is doing, what remains is very much the core values of the Republican Party.

Short term profits for polluters over the health of our planet and our children and their children.

Enriching the malefactors of great wealth over the well being of the American people.

Lust for wealth and power over ethics, the rule of law, and our founding principles of representative democracy.

None of the evil they are doing is going to have any consequences for them - at least negative ones - so THEY DON'T CARE.

20. My assumption about wealthy polluters is that they believe they will always be able to afford to

live someplace clean and safe, no matter what happens to the rest of us. Their ignorance exceeds that of the dinosaurs.

Perhaps what he has a hard time wrapping his head around is that sociopaths could prosper so well in our society and government.

37. Combine that with severe narcissism and we have...

Donald Trump and Scott Pruitt. I suspect all in his cabinet suffer to some degree with these defects of character.

However, they say it's the worst of the psychopaths that will stab you in the back while trying to convince you it's good for your health.

29. They expect their fortunes to be locked in forever. So their kids and gandkids will be

able to live in private communities and use vacation resorts that are unspoiled forever. Of course the fortune will be blown by the grandkids and any more that come along will end up in the filth their family helped create.

32. There are a bunch of super rich people who have paid to reserve a spot in some kind of underground

luxury bunker. And like the thing is sold out. This is the mentality of these people. They actually are willing to destroy the planet and live underground for the rest of their lives to feed their insatiable greed. How do you reason with that kind of...I don't even know what to call it...insanity? Stupidity? Short-sightedness?

35. I believe the reason behind their vile actions is:

They do not care, pure and simple. Period. If waht they do kills the planet who gives a f**k? when Earth dies, will have already died, so they may as well enjoy wealth and power now...you only live once.

Thanks Dan Rather...I'm always thinking of those issues.
We all need energy and the fossil fuel companies have dug in their heels, saying their way is the only way...
