Morning Joe tackled comedian Michelle Wolfs routine at the White House Correspondents Dinner which included what many considered personal attacks on Sarah Huckabee Sanders by pointing out that supporters of President Donald Trump dont have much credence to criticize the comedian.
MSNBCs Joe Scarborough noted a number of Trumps personal attacks on women, including his creepy remarks about Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and bitter attacks on Mika Brzezinski. He then played a montage of Trump attacking various women, including his remarks that Rosie ODonnell is fat, chubby, ugly and a slob.
You could go down the entire list, Scarborough remarked, I mean it goes on forever.
The criticism of Trump supporters is rich, he continued. There were quite a few people that Ive known and Ive considered friends for some time that saying they were shocked and stunned and deeply saddened. And they were so shocked by the personal insults that they left early. And then they went to afterparties and had a great time there.
He continued:
But these friends of mine for 20 years certainly didnt call me up and say, Hey Joe, were thinking about you. So sorry he attacked your fiancés appearance. Hey Joe, were sorry that Donald Trump said you were a murderer and you had to explain to your 9-year-old boy. I understand it. Im a big boy. I didnt bitch about it at the time. But these people who were so shocked and stunned and deeply saddened that a comedian did what comedians do and yet they just apologized for Donald Trump over and over again and kept their mouths shut. What a joke.
That is rich, Brzezinski said, though she argued Wolf was the wrong pick for the evening. I dont think the media right now should be stooping to the same level.

(61,743 posts)Joe pointed out their hypocrisy. Mika was all apologetic and mad that the press' representative association hired a comedian that poked at Rs, Ds, and the liars in the WH.

(28,420 posts)....but that was really well-said. Mika remains a lost cause.

(12,537 posts)Zbigniew Brzezinski should have made his daughter use her married name instead of letting her use "Brzezinski" and use his reputation to land a TV job.
She really sucks at her job, and lets everyone crap all over her as she makes weak mousy little sounds that Joe Scab steps to shut her up. What a pathetic sight.
