John Dean: 'It Could Be an Act of Obstruction' if Team Trump Leaked Mueller's Questions (VIDEO)

John Dean suggested that Donald Trump‘s legal team might’ve committed a form of “obstruction” by leaking of Robert Mueller‘s list of questions for the president.

The New York Times has obtained a list containing dozens of questions that the special counsel wants to ask about the ongoing investigation into Russia’s 2016 election-meddling. As Anderson Cooper reviewed the questions on CNN, Dean joined him over the phone and said he was struck by the possibility that Team Trump let Mueller’s questions go public in order to find out how they’d be received.

“The very fact that the questions are out there – my first reaction suggesting that it could be an act of obstruction just to have released these questions,” the former Nixon White House counsel said. “To try to somehow disrupt the flow of information, the tipping off of witnesses in advance to what the question was going to be…it appears to me more that these are questions somebody wrote down after listening to someone else than necessarily the questions that were designed by the prosecutors.”

Mueller's team doesn't leak. It is out of character for him to release something like this.

Therefore, somebody at the White House or chump's legal team is the likely source. If that's the case, that somebody is in a boatload of trouble.

say the Mueller questions were not released to them by Trump's lawyers. Don't know if that includes others in the WH.

But I don't know what he would hope to gain by it. I don't know if this is Trumpers doing something stupid or Mueller playing 8-dimensional chess.
