Let us not talk about the questions that Mueller wants to ask Donald Trump.

Let us talk about who leaked the questions to the NYTimes.

That appears to be the latest defense of Donald Trump in his continued refusal to answer questions from the Special Counsel.

Can Donald Trump escape responding to the questions in the Russia investigation? Is he above the law? Does the law permit such exceptions?

As the historian, Jon Meacham, said on Morning Joe this morning, it is about the 35%-40% that will continue to support Trump, no matter what the facts might say. Will they believe the facts that are being reported by experts or will they believe the pathological liar?

that tRump could receive? Shouldn't he be sending baskets of flowers to the leaker? Or maybe I'm thinking about actual, thinking human beings who would seize the opportunity to prepare for questions under oath.

I don't know about that?

Could he answer those questions without seriously incriminating himself?

Also, doesn't it show everyone, including Trump supporters, what Mueller and his investigation are concerned about? They need to get to the bottom of this Russia infiltration of our democracy, and especially, the communication takeover by Russian agents and whether or not there was complicity with some Americans?

and maybe be prepared to answer them in the briefest possible manner. No possibility of "ambush" or "gotcha!" questions. I would love to think that he'd seriously incriminate himself. On national television. While eating a cheeseburger.

As if presidents have the rights of royalty. That's why we fought the revolution - to rid ourselves of such ideas and inequalities.
