I worry for TraitorTrump...

...what if all of his lawyers get smart and quit on him, will the judge have to appoint a public defender to represent him?

Why should he be defended with my tax dollars? Take it out of Melania's shoe allowance.

How much will republican'ts whine about the sorry state of public defender offices where they are underpaid, understaffed, and overworked?

I'm pretty sure you only get a public defender if you can't afford PoindexterOglethorpe May 2018 #1

to hire your own lawyer. And there will always be some attorney out there who will be happy to take on Trump as a client.

What if they all show enough sense to avoid the traitor?

Can a judge force a lawyer to take the traitor on as a client?

what they mostly learn in law school is that everyone deserves representation, and that the laws can be interpreted variously. Which is why they, individually and collectively, will sign up to represent someone, no matter how terrible. There is going to be a lot more than one attorney out there who will happily take on Donald Trump for a healthy advance fee.

Trust me, no judge is going to have to force a lawyer to take Trump as a client.
