They always have. People have been writing and posting satire in DU's General Discussion forum since I can remember. I have no doubt that will continue.

The DUer who posted this one always signals the satirical nature with that image. I use the emoji. We have several satirists on this forum. Each contributes in his or her own way to the general merriment.
