OK, so last week was hell for me and I didn't hear any news of the outside world.

Came up for air today and heard about the loser who mowed people over because he doesn't get sex?

So, now I know about "incels".

Has there been a sadder bunch of losers, ever?



And, they actually believe in forced sex from women because they (the incels) "deserve it."

This is so lame I am having a hard time even wrapping my head around it.

Did DU talk about this?

I can't be away from the news for one week without something new and horrifying coming out that I've never heard about.

1. There's nothing new about men who feel they are entitled to women's bodies. Just the names change.

Watching some media treat them as if their outlook is a valid option for moving through the world is both tiresome and infuriating.

5. Oh, you probably knew them once upon a time

I remember being 13 and just coming into puberty with a load of hormones dumped into my system. It was a tough time for a lot of boys. Most of us struggled with the embarrassing mix of maturing physical body and lagging emotional development. But we learned, sometimes painfully, to mesh the two natures and by the time we got into high school had turned the corner on the imbalance.

Then you have the guys who never did come to terms with the dichotomy, and who have ever since carried a grudge against their own natural development. Their emotional maturity thus stunted, they never did make peace with themselves, and decided that all their frustrations were everyone else's fault.
