“Not appropriate entertainment for a family show — EVER!” “Just not my type [of] entertainment.” Too sexy for TV? That’s what a majority of fans tweeted after singer Janelle Monáe took the stage Tuesday on “The Voice.

The people with this fake outrage, are probably the same people that are ok with a POTUS who said that he can grab women by the p***sy and had an affair with a porn star.

2. I watched the performance

and a bit confused? What was not appropriate? The dancers all had leotards on. It was a very high energy performance that needed easy clothing to move around in. Hell... I've seen Olympic Ice skaters with LESS clothing!

13. Janelle Monae even said in an interview she's done being the "clean-cut" performer.

She had been getting endless letters from parents thanking her for her "conservative" outfits (See the video for Tightrope from her first album.)

I am not 100% sure, but I think her reaction to that was "fuck that!"

Thus, she's who she is now.

(Pretty much damn perfect, in my opinion)
