If you've ever tried to tear an envelope made of Tyvek - a synthetic paper - then you're familiar with this already. Synthetic papers and boards aren't fiber, and they can't be torn apart like paper and cardboard can.

This sign was probably screenprinted on fomecore or coroplast. The guy should have used a knife or else left it alone.
