Michelle Wolf now tops a list of popular comedians based on their social media engagement following her controversial performance at the annual White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) dinner last weekend.
The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday that Wolf tops its latest Top Comedians chart, which compares rates of followers or subscribers and social media engagement on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube based on data from social media analytics company MVPindex.
Wolf is followed on the list by actor Kevin Hart, who went from No. 7 to No. 2 in the May 9 chart, followed by comedian D.L. Hughley at No. 3. The chart was the first time Wolf has landed in the top 10.
Others on the latest list include Kathy Griffin, actor Kumail Nanjiani, actor Tommy Chong, talk-show host Dennis Miller, actress Roseanne Barr, Chris D'Elia and actor Patton Oswalt.
Wolf's performance last Saturday quickly became the most-watched WHCA dinner video by C-SPAN, racking up more than 4.4 million views in three days.
