4. My city recently passed a bylaw for elected officials regarding gifts that would make

American federal politicians poopy in their corrupt brown pants....any gift must be declared without in writing to the City Clerk, in confidence. No exceptions for family, friends etc. The Clerk sorts it out.

Now the politicians are whining about too much red tape for all the " trinkets" being gifted...hmmm, I got a solution for that. ZERO gifts...and tell the gift givers that and the whole thing goes away.

Politicians, can not live with the, can not live without them.
