1. Nope, the 25th Amendment doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President." Do you seriously think the Vice President and a majority of the cabinet officers will do a thing?

OTOH, United States v. Nixon says a president must comply with a subpoena.

2. 25.4 ain't happening unless Donnie is in a coma

It just isn't a viable means to get rid of a bad president. You need cooperation from a cabinet where loyalty is usually a factor, and in Donnie's case it seems like the only factor.

Appearing before a grand jury, on the other hand, seems quite likely to be required, albeit probably on tape and almost surely with Donnie exclusively invoking the 5th or "not remembering".

Basically three groups settled this new continent. Hermits, Cultist, and Conquistadors.

Hermits were very tough people and every 60 or 70 yrs there decedents cause some upheaval with their go it alone attitude, no help from government, survive or die, I'll take care of me any way I can.

This is one of those times and they always fade from view after a while. They just don't like being around other people. They just move on.

Trump is just the current vendor of this BS and will use it for all its worth and move along.

10. 25.4 was never intended to remove a bad president; that's what impeachment is for

25.4 was intended to remove a president who was incapacitated -- coma, stroke, etc.

it's not an accident that 25.4 isn't going to be the remedy for someone like donnie.

the problem is that money in politics and gerrymandering and the republican party have gotten so corrupt and have gained enough institutional control that congress's power of impeachment is now incapable of removing a bad president of the same party. well, at least, of the republican party.

if there's to be a solution, the best bet would be a constitutional amendment to allow for a no confidence vote somehow.

11. The use of the 25th Amendment to remove Trump is simply a fantasy of the Left.

Fantasies are nice but it's good to stay in touch with reality.
