Perhaps for him, lying is his real and practicing modus operandi, and that he does it consciously and with purpose. I read recently that his tweets are intentionally written, mostly by three or four staffers, to denote that the writer, presumably Trumpy, is ignorant of written English grammar and syntax, and that this conveyance is intentional. It's all smoke and mirrors for Trumpy. And it's intentional, which should give plenty of reason to feel even more hatred toward him.

He does it to devalue the idea of objective facts, and promote the idea that “truth” is whatever he says it is at that moment. He and his administration lie constantly- often about little things that are easily disproven and that they have no need to lie about. “We’re at war with Eurasia- we’ve always been at war with Eurasia.”
