A friend of mine had this comment after watching Rudy

Basically he wondered if Rudy just was getting even for not getting a Cabinet Position?

That this was planned.

It is about creating as much noise as is possible and confusing the issues with a steady stream of BS. I'm not one to really believe that in a Court of Law this will work, but in the arena of Breathless 24/7 Cable Noise Infotainment Pseudo News it will help to provide some cover for the short term and keep them talking about the latest gaff flavor of the day, while the press should be watching the man behind the curtain.
